To all of our friends, family, supporters and loyal customers: As some of you may know, we were blessed to adopt our beautiful daughter last year. Life has been a beautiful, crazy whirlwind that we would never trade for anything! But business did take away from our time with our precious daughter. It has been a little difficult working with a little one who needs and wants us all the time.
My husband and I are currently pursuing a new adventure and we would like to share (in part to explain) why we have made the decision to close down shop June 1st.
We are in the process of completing a home study with the State of NH DCYF to become licensed foster parents. We feel very strongly that there are so many kids in the system that get separated from their families, their siblings, etc. We would like to help these kids find love and stability while they wait for the courts to decide their fate. And if the opportunity presents itself, our family is ready to welcome these children permanently. Specifically, we would like to help sibling groups remain together. Because of the added needs of some of these kids, we feel it's best to give up the business and just focus on being the best parents we can be. I will be 100% available for our daughter and any and all children that may come to live with us be it temporary or permanent.
That being said, we decided that June 1st will be the closing date because at that point, we will be finishing up our classes and our home study will be complete. Our food license expires July 1. We will honor all orders that have been previously scheduled for June. Our Facebook page will close on June 1 and our website will be deactivated as well. We will, however, continue to accept orders through the rest of April and all of May.
We want to thank everyone who has supported us over the last couple of years. Without you, we wouldn't have gotten as far as we have. We have truly appreciated working with every single client and we wish you all nothing but the best.
